The Power of Effective Marketing... no ad blindness...
Thinking about nothing in particular I realized my
mind had wandered while reviewing this new-to-me
brand entitled "Urban
Daddy"
which I was invited to subscribe to and I must say
first of all I'm impressed with the consistency of
the brand message I've seen in my email inbox thus
far. I've clicked through each time because I wanted
more information because what they're putting in
front of me is so unique and compelling. That's a
100% response rate for this subscriber. I mean, stop
for a moment and think about that from both consumer
and business perspectives. One thing that's really
working for me is the graphic design; it's clean,
modern, dark - appealing attributes for me. The
invite to join this mailing list caught my attention
immediately with it's graphic appeal, I liked the
purported editorial content it would convey so I
clicked through and subscribed. Like I said above
I've clicked through on an item in each email they've
sent, and they've sent approximately six (6) emails
within seven days. For example this weekend I
received a message and I clicked through to this
hotel which is carved into not out of the volcanic
mountains in
Cappadocia
region of
Turkey.
Fascinating. It's called the
Anatolian Houses
and this takes unique and exclusive to a whole new
level. What I've learned already is that the gadget,
hotel or whatever item "Urban
Daddy"
has placed in front of me is special and perhaps, is
impossible to source. No doubt I will be writing more
about this brand as it evolves and reveals more of
itself to me. I'm curious who's publishing it. I find
it provocative, compelling, and well executed
content. Kudos to "Urban
Daddy".
