"Top Chef's" Padma Lakshmi Talks About Objectivity...

I've been watching "Top Chef" from the beginning. Remember season one and the pretty but boring Mrs. Billy Joel [yawn]. Granted she's probably one of the prettier fish mongers around but she was such a flat-liner, she brought no juice to the show. Jump to season two with Padma Lakshmi whose energy comes right through the TV screen. I also like the chemistry between she and Tom Colicchio as well as the chef contestants. I loved the episode this season where she enters the penthouse and wakes up the chefs, C.J.'s comments to Padma were hilarious. We couldn't see Padma's face but if you listen she burst out laughing in response to C.J. remark. It's fun, she brings her unique style and energy to the show. Padma rocks! Watch this behind the scenes clip of her explaining her roll on the show.

"The Naked Chef" on BBC America

I found this great show a few weeks ago it's called THE NAKED CHEF. It turns out they're seven year old episodes but the chef is this very engaging, young British chef, Jamie Oliver. Well, I had heard of him but didn't know he also is on BBC. I like his approach to cooking for this show he showcases the food, you could say he takes a more rustic approach, less fussy. He's fun to watch he looks like he's 18 years old but he was clearly born to cook. If you want more information about the show click here. If you want to know more about Jamie Oliver click here. Happy reading. Post a comment. Feedback is appreciated.
